Monthly Gallery Talks Every Second Saturday
 
Initiated by the new McNay Contemporary
Collectors Forum, Artists Looking at Art salutes
the vitality of the contemporary art community
in San Antonio.  Scheduled for the second Saturday
of every month, this moderated series features a
fascinating array of guest artists who offer a discerning
and fresh perspective on the museum’s collection.
In addition, a specially selected work by each guest
artist will hang at the McNay during the month of his
or her presentation. Admission to the Artists Looking
at Art gallery talks is free and requires no reservation.

HILLS SNYDER

Known for his wry and witty installations, artist Hills
Snyder opens the new series on Saturday,October 12
at 11:00 A.M. His gallery talk, Beyond post To Kellogg’s,
will be accompanied by a recitation group, The Recessitators,
and a multiple work installation, Recess.
